    All new games for PS3 will require 3.50 or newer OS. That means you should completely disconnect your PS3 from Internet and use old OS (3.41)

    Its an embedded device, aka a tiny-ass computer. This particular tiny-ass computer called blackcat and its a programmer. Which means it is designed for programming other tiny ass computers(microchips). Like the ones in the PS3's brain.

    In all honesty I don't think they get sold anymore, they've been superseded by PS3 custom firmware which is free unlike the blackcat USB, and custom firmwares can be used on higher firmwares, not just 3.41 and below like the blackcat USB
