I have xp and linux right now, but I want to install windows 2000 pro or windows 2003 over linux cuzz I dont like it. Which operating system would you recomend winddows 2000 pro or windows 2003 enterprise?

definitely win2k pro
win2k3 is not designed for the normal home desktop computers
you can't use windows update if you wanna get ur ass scraped by microsoft and a lot of apps wont run with win2k3
ive use all on my pc, i like xp pro out of the lot of them, windows xp and 2003 are very similar, except windows 2003 needs some tweaking to be used as a normal os.

he means if you use windows updatw microsoft will know that you are using a bootleg. i dont like windows 2000, it looks to much like the other windows 95,98,nt

it might look like those OS's
but it preforms just as good as xp, in fact better on slower computers, I would go with 2kpro most definitely
i use windows update on windows 2003 .net server and nothing happens to me (i dont think) am i just lucky or are m$ plotting agianst me
