what is in it?
plus i also heard this rumor from a m8 of mine
he said "in the film Marcellus is the devil hence the briefcase lock being 666 and what is in the case are the souls he has taken."
i didnt believe a thing of this so i told him to shut up

I think your friend is partially right.
Marsellus wasn't the devil. According to this website, he sold his soul to the devil and bought it back. The briefcase contained his soul.
That's why the combination was 666 (the briefcase belonged to the devil) and he had that band-aid on the back of his head (that's where the devil is supposed to take your soul).

in a recent interview, qt stated that u were supposed to use your imagination to put something in the case, like in old cartoons. Samuel L Jackson said in between takes he saw it was just a golden light.
