    i want to make media player classic the default app to open all video files. i tried the options>format menu but nothing happens. no other player is set as default n there is no icon on video files, it just looks like those files witout ne extension so it cant be a conflict
    i need help wit messing wit the registry pls, i already deleted a movie by mistake

    You mean Xp pro sp1 and the files are say movie with no icon or is it movie.avi (or .mpg) with no icon(picture).

    Right click on a video file > properties > opens with > change > select media player classic. You might have to browse to the exe if it's not listed. You'll have to do this with all types of video file, such as mpg, avi, etc.

    By the way, it's bloddy freezing outside.
