Thread: Would you listen to music in a language you didn't understand?

  1. #81
On the odd occasion I do, but I mostly hear short sound tracks in movies which I tend to chase. When there is something being played live, the circumstances are different. I can enjoy mostly anything; just maybe not watching fat people on stage dressed as lumberjacks while screaming for 3 hours on end (theatrical).

It really depends on the song itself.

I prefer music in English but I will listen to italian or spanish (not mariachi bands) if the beat and singing is good.

Usually I don't care about language of lyrics. I am taking a look on music itself.

I always thought lyrics are obsolete, I don't even know the lyrics of my favorite albums. I listen to alot of non-english music, japanese and french especially, italian, finnish and spanish are very beautiful languages as well.
