I once said sure, I'll fill out an application without pondering upon it. Then I started doing it, and the moment it felt tedious (wasn't fun), I thought why the fuck am I bothering with this. I mean I hate updating my CV, but when I do, it's for something pretty important. I just can't justify the effort. I'm only a member of one site now, and originally it was to contribute content, but after realizing one of the staff is an idiot I just started ignoring it. So I'm solely focused on newsgroups these days. I visit these threads to be reminded of why I jumped away from private bt so quickly. I also really miss Depths of Perversion.

That's a bit excessive if its the main factor for switching means. I mean most if not all trackers will let you mind your business and you don't really even have to read announcements, staff messages, or visit the forums ever. I have never run into a tracker that isn't happy if a member bookmarks the browse page and never visits another page.

Wait what's excessive, the act of ignoring? I'm just picky. Also, I tend to run into problems with staff more quickly than your average member because I don't show up to be a quiet polite little consumption machine. I'm very squeaky.

Well that's what Nzbs are all about, which you are quote *solely focused on*. I don't even know what you're trying to say anymore, so nevermind.

I'll clarify... BECAUSE I get all my consumption content from newsgroups, I don't need to consume from private BT sites, get it? That should have been self-evident, sorry for making the assumption. Now I do post to usenet, but sometimes that feels like throwing bottled poems from a fishing boat 100 miles off the coast. I'm also a perfectionist, so getting feedback is also desirable.

They never want to oil me up, it's more like, I should be grateful that they provide a ground to roll on, so I should just lay still on my side to avoid making too much noise. This analogy is getting out of hand.

@OP: Applications to PTN which include FST profile links are NOT rejected on sight, unless there is some other serious issue with the application/applicant.
On a personal note, I usually accept apps by FST members with some level of activity on this forum for reasons ranging from plain old forum activity to honesty/frankness of the applicant. I even overlook certain shortcomings within the applications and make exceptions for active members from this site.
Having said that, most of the PTN staff members are pretty active on this forum. Our staff doesn't consist of hypocrites, which is a USP considering the lack of genuine people/staffers on most sites who derive some sort of sadistic pleasure by bashing any/everything FST.

@Critics: Thanks for your continued support/feedback and criticism outside of PtN. Your views will definitely be taken into account and changes be made to the subsequent revisions of code.

    Cheers.

Stay on topic, I don't think we're talking about PTN, whatever that is

Eh, applications aren't the worst thing in the world. Could be auditions, like those old porn shoots.
