Morning Everyone,
So the wife and I have been getting into capturing quick weekly VLOGS using our new GoPro Hero2. My question is, is there a decent alternative to Sony Vegas Pro 11 for video editing, from the standpoint of cost? Vegas Pro 11 stands at $600, which is a bit much, especially as just starting out video editors.
Thanks a bunch!
B.

I personally use Adobe Premiere Pro since I'm a bit of an Adobe fan boy. Unfortunately it's more expensive than Vegas. They do however make a Premiere "Elements" edition which sells for about $60

I'm not sure what kind of features you need or whether or not they would be in there but you can figure that out. Before switching to Premiere Pro I used Cyberlink Powerdirector which is about the same price. http://www.cyberlink.com/products/po...n_US.html?&r=1
There's a lot of good information on TopTenReviews.com so I suggest looking there. That was how I found out about Powerdirector.
