If you have downloaded over 20GB and your global ratio drops at any point below 0.400, you will receive a site issued Leech Warning. If your ratio is not raised to over 0.75 within 4 weeks (28 days) from the day you have been warned, your account will become automatically disabled, no exception so don't ask to be re-enabled, 28 days is plenty of time, especially with Seed Points.

He said he donated to the tracker "long ago", so I'm not sure it's that. If the reason was excessive leeching (regardless of account age), well... should have thought of seeding earlier. But as of this writing, we can only speculate.

did you try to talk in their IRC channel for help?
but if your account was entirely deleted, you can try to re-register can't you?
BCG is open via #invites channel
just state your problem /issue /request humbly and politely, they will help you

Speaking of hit and runs, I lost my Badge of Honor because I hit and ran on too many torrents; however, as far as I remember, none of those torrents had any leechers besides me, and they still don't have any leechers. I will regain a Badge of Honor only if I clear those hit and runs?

You do know about Seed Points dont you?
Even if a torrent has 0 leechers, if you seed the torrents for X amount of time, which you can find in your SP Overview page, link is in your profile, then we GIVE you the ratio to make the torrent 1-1 ratio, so it is not a hit and run anymore.
The time you have to seed for depends on the size of the torrent, and if you are a donor or not.
