The redneck accent, similar to some southern rural accents, are everywhere. However, since it's in Cambridge, that would imply you must familiarize yourself with the Boston accent. Additionally, since it's MIT, you would also expect to here English spoken with a variety of foreign accents. Thirdly, sorry you didn't get the job
