It would be so easy to dismiss Jeffrey Lewis as a singer. There's nothing in his voice that resembles the traditional notion of what "good" singing is supposed to be. However, his sheer talent shines through and makes him VERY enjoyable, IMO.
Perhaps a bit like Bob Dylan in the sense that he's doing his own poetry, so he is the one who decides how it is supposed to be done.

watched that secret life of walter shitty last night, it was pretty gash. it was like it was trying to be some sort of art film, being proper quiet for ages then having songs from Arcade Fire and having lyke, deeper meanings and shit. But all the way through i was thinking, do you know there's a Ben Stiller in your art film? Is that supposed to be there?
I also watched Filth, it was quality lyke. Proper good moviefilm.

Werd. I watched August: Osage County because that's what the vagina wanted to watch. It was top notch acting but the plot was worse than Olegl's sex life.
Next movie will prob be Dallas Buyers Club.
