Actually the French are masters at appearing to be polite but not meaning it. Maybe you were thinking of the Germans. Far as I know they have yet to apologized for either of the two World Wars or for Milli Vanilli.

Let no know what you think because from what I've read most people say the commercials totally misrepresent the movie which actually isn't that bad supposedly.
The movie still bombed spectacularly at the box office and is on target to lose over $200 million dollars.
