The beta site is still .me . I imagine that they are probably getting ready to take the beta site live & might be preparing to take the old site down completely. That's just a guess though...

In early 2011, Demonoid changed its domain to a .me address, to avoid US government seizure.
In July 2011, demonoid.me became the most popular .me web site.
On 27th April 2012 Demonoid changed its domain to a .ph TLD.
Earlier last year Kickass Torrents also changed its domain to .ph
