I like KL cuz it's the easiest way to find music & video to download, but I hate the constant change in download speed...download time can increase dramatically.

If you always keep the price in mind, then the time it takes to get it shouldn't bother you so much.

it often also depends on the speed of the peopel you are shairng your
    thoughts & files with ;)

If everybody would have broadband - I for myself decided to allow max.
2 upload at once so uploads would be faster then 4 uploads at once...

Only if I am not at the PC, I sometime leave 4 slots opened ;)

and there were nights - I wish some tool wold have taken them to statistics -
in which the upload list was full of uploads in the next morning. e.g.,
after I finished downloading Bryce5, there many many people getting it from me ;)

    ~nice dreams...

Yes well, I'm into downloading downloading music videos, and the few I find on websites keep a pretty constant bps rate when downloading. A download on KL may start out at 1 hour for an MPEG video, and end up at 5 hours within 4 minutes, then the D/L time keeps fluctuating.

I know there's not much that can be done about this, but it's still frustrating, especially if you're dialup connection never goes above 49k and you're ISP is doesn't provide "unlimted."

    I may change ISPs.

Try using Internet Turbo. When you're d/loading minimize Klite++ and leave your PC while in progress. Any way you can monitor your modem or cable with the led blinking.

yep, netlimiter is nice tool - so you can get a glimpse which ips
the ppl use who download from you - and from which parts of the world
files comes and to which ips you are uploading - to which parts of the world...

there is an ip info, which show you info about the ISP - its adress -
so you can get a glimpse ;)
