toffees and chocolate hurt my teeth if i eat as if they are food.
but if you just slowly let a piece melt in your mouth and keep it away from the teeth the are most rotten you'll be fine.
fudge melts quickly so it doesn't get to your teeth as much.
if you don't like it eat some popcorn that doesn't hurt at all.

They used to sell these in german class in highschool. I always thought they were fairly tasty. I don't see them for sale that often at most grocery stores but world market has the stuff. Never tried the white chocolate variety.
