Thread: Window Media Player

  1. #1
I am trying to watch a video clip with my Windows Media Player Version 9 but every time I use it the video constantly flashes. The sound and the speed is okay but it blinks throughout the whole clip. What can I do to fix that?

Also- how can I save a video clip from a web site to my computer? When I click on the link it automatically plays it does not get me the option to save to my disk.

    use single buffering.
check your divx decoder settings, it looks like you enabled double buffering and your monitor cant take the heat

I do not have any problems with my Divx player, I am experiencing the problems with Windows Media Player.

Stay away from that Windows Media Player crap.
What can I say, it's pure crap.
Use different software for different media file types, like Winamp for audio and BSPlayer for DivX.

Try right-clicking on the link and choose 'Save Target As...'

I tried that but all it does is creates a shortcut for that web site.

Thank you for the advice, but what is the BSPlayer for Divx? I couldn't find anything like that on its site.
