    I was recently downloading MLB 14 Show 16.6GB but was having some issues with tsh so I downloaded the torrent from gft and while hash check Tsh said 5.1gb down and gft said 4.3gb the piece size on gft was 1 Mb and 4mb on tsh why did the torrent client could not find the remaining 800MB?

    When force rechecking it will only accept full pieces.Partials are not recognized.

    So although you downloaded 5.1 gb from Torrentshack the second torrent only found 4.3gb

    So you are saying that unless piece size are same there could always be something missing with incomplete downloads, any reason why different trackers have different piece size ?

    What I am saying is partial chunks/ pieces on a partial download.

    If download was complete both should be 100%.

    Usual reason for different sizes is if you download from site a but want to seed it and upload the same torrent elsewhere you have to choose another size. If not when adding second torrent the client will see it as a dupe and not add it.

    IE . You can create a new torrent with the same size but not seed it.
