    Install the CPU and heatsink.
Install the memory and video card.
Hook up the power supply and monitor.
Bridge the two pins that the power on switch connects to.
    Does the rig POST?

    Mobo works.

You can even leave out the ram and video card. Connect the small pc speaker and turn it on, if your board beeps then the board is ok.

Well if your going to buy this stuff brand new, i dont see why it wont work and it should come with warrenty.

If this is the first time your putting a pc together, just be calm and make sure everything goes in the right place. As simple as that.

IMO the worst thing you can do when putting a pc together is shorting it out, destroying components with static and destroying the cpu from installing hs incorrectly.

Make sure the ram is correctly seated...I built a pc and when I booted it started to smoke...when I checked to to see what went wrong the second bank of Ram had popped up....cost me a Motherboard..now I allways triple check everything...
