Admitting you have sex with cars in the middle of a movie review is a rookie mistake.

    Did it star Arnold Schwarzenegger?

I am sure that to hold that title, it has to star the aforementioned actor. Either him or Sylvester Stalone. The only two worthy of the title of 'Greatest Action Movie Hero'.

Life is odd in that Die Hard can be best action movie ever made while A Good Day to Die Hard can be the 4011th greatest action movie ever made.

Yes, Die Hard is awesome, but I think they missed an opportunity when they didn't cast Schwarzenegger or Stalone in the lead role. Look at the films that Schwarzenegger has promoted.

    Total Recall.

    Running Man.

    Conan the Barbarian.

    The Terminator.

    Predator.

    Commando.

    Raw Deal.

    Red Heat.

    Eraser.

    ...and not forgetting...

    The Last Action Hero.

    As for Stallone, well.

    First Blood/Rambo.

    Rocky.

    Cobra.

    Cliffhanger.

    Demolition Man.

    Judge Dredd.

    Assassins.

    ...and...

    Death Race 2000.

Rocky and it's sequels aren't action movies and many people would argue that True Lies which you omitted was Arnold's best film. Also for Stallone see Nighthawks which is sort of his version of Diehard if Bruce Willis was doing a Al Pacino impersonation and there was no action.

Two reasons why neither of these guys would have worked in Die Hard:

    1) Neither would have fit in the tight spaces necessary for hiding in the Takanomi Building

    2) The quick-paced dialog that taunts the bad guys could not have rolled off the tongues of either
