No Upload

Hello Guys,

im new with Bittorrent things.
I got an invite for a private tracker and download one File.
it works great but i have no upload.
not good for my ratio
i use qbittorrent 3.3.6

Any help what it do wrong?

Are there any leechers on the torrent? You need people to download the files you have seeding to get you upload.

If it is not this then you need to check you are connectable, check your settings, try another client. Could be the tracker is just difficult to get upload on...or you are seeding an old file or a file that no one wants so try getting on a new upload very quickly (especially if this new upload is popular and freeleech).

You should just leave it seeding in your client, and wait. less people snatch stuff on private trackers, so sometimes maybe noone will be leeching at all. Once you build up a bunch of snatches that you are seeding, hopefully you will see your upload increase. If it's still an issue after a few days and you know people are leeching from that torrent, then there are ways to optimize your connectivity (port forwarding).

qbittorrent is connectable, deluge not

Get connectable before anything else - that's a must. Configure your client properly. Seeding can be tougher than on public trackers, because not all torrents will give you upload (see TSOL's post above); keep that in mind. Ratio requirements don't usually come into effect until you've downloaded more than a certain amount.

Now uTorrent and it works...

I have an other question.

I want to create my first torrent by using utorrent.

i choose the directory
tracker url

but what mean:

private torrent?
create encrypted?
instant seeding - i need to upload the torrent file first. so why that option?
keep file order - means that the user load it in order?
