Thread: Help

    when i turn on the computer the desktop doest show up. only the wallpaper shows up. how do i get my desktop back. i am accecing this by pressing crt alt del and using the run program to be here .

    Did you use a tweak program like WinBoost to disable it. Mabey you can use Winboost to turn it back on.

    no nothing. the computer just restarted and could not see my desktop

    Alright. This is weird you need to do a system check after this.

    When you use the run command type "explorer" or explorer.exe both should work. That will bring back your explorer.

    And if there is no access to a command prompt, control alt delete and use taskmanager/applications/new task/explorer.exe

    hold down either F2 or F8 and boot into SafeMode, run Norton if you have, then restart I had the same problem and this fixed it. Even if you don&#39;t run Norton just boot up using Safe Mode than restart

    Also make sure there are no CD&#39;s, disks in your drives.

    if all that doesn&#39;t work try unplugging USB shit

    how do i boot into safemode. sorry for being such a noob. i run win xp home
