    one tool someone recommend me, was VNC as I know - it was also here on the board

    If he has Windows XP Pro and you have it too then he can set it up so you can do remote desktop to connect him. Once he has enabled that then you can go Start > Programs > Accessories > Communications > Remote Desktop Connection
    You need his ip to connect to him, only after he has enabled you. This is in XP Pro.

    Otherwise, Remote Desktop Shareware
    You can go to WebAttack to search for one.

    VNC is not for remote desktop. It authenticates you in a private/public/university network.

    tighvnc is a nice free one it worked very well for me since i have never trusted the m&#036; one.
