of course, this was 6 months ago, so...

I got my 120 gig Maxtor drive in Bestbuy on the Black Friday Sale(28, November)
with a $90 rebate (I think it used to be $149) which the final price(after the rebate) was $59.99. Good Deal. Now I just have to install it.
EDIT: Speaking of hot deals, my dad bought a $429(after a $220 rebate) MAG Innovasion 19 inch LCD monitor. Bought it in bestbuy, black friday sale, too.
hardware is far too cheap in america...

i got the same 120gb drive maxtor 8mb cache 7200 rpm for 59 bucks, and i also have never had any trouble getting my mail-in rebates from them. the trick to it is......YOU ACTUALLY HAVE TO MAIL IT IN!I know its shocking........stamp and all.......holy shit you gotta lick the envelope and walk to the mailbox
not to mention the form you have to fill out that take every bit of 5 minutes to complete................what the hell is this world comming to
