Quicklinks or quick information can be stored in there. Its not that hard to guess is it.

I've never used it (I'm new here but I'm at other forums that use IPB). For taking quick notes I prefer notepad (When I'm using windows) or kwrite (When I'm using linux). But maybe that's just me.
I'll stick to my personal note pad.
