i could download a copy but i heard that it's hard to set a downloaded xp up

use this first and scan your pc with it
Edit: dont use kazaa lite to download windows , get a bittorrent client and get a version from suprnova

There's bugs in the last couple of Opera releases. It calls a process that sometimes refuses to start.
If you check task manager, you'll see it trying to run. It may be cycling rapidly even.
csrss.exe is the one to look for. If it's pulsing, then Opera is loaded.
I've played with priority on it and got it to load faster but at the expense of system stability.
If I ignore it, Opera will sometimes open on it's own 5 or 10 minutes later.
I'm guessing this csrss.exe is already in use and doesn't want to be shared ????

yeh its in use...but lots of other programs dont workl eitehr(photoshop(it crashes all the time and stuff) plus my computers been really slow lately i might try and format anyway thanks for all your help

to format a pc, you need to:
1) back up all important data
2) find your windows cd (if its a pre win 2k os you will need a bootdisk)
3) format your hadrive via a bootdisk (format c or via the xp/2k cd
4) install your os
5) install your drivers
6) install everything else
7) your done
where do i get my drivers at?

You have an HP, you'll proabaly need their proprietary drivers. If they don't supply them, try www.driverguide.com
