I just don't know what driviers to get.

First and foremost, get the latest drivers for your motherboard, graphics card, and soundcard. I don't know anything about proprietary drivers, your best bet would be to check out HP's website. If you can't find any answers there, start a new topic here asking other HP users where they get their latest drivers, i'm sure someone will be able to help you.
