Joined Movie's Won't Dub

How is it possible, and what can I do about it, that when ever I dl a movie that consist of two parts and after I joined them together ,I need to dub them first and then save Wav, but when I try that I get the errormessage
COULD NOT LOCATE THE AUDIODECOMPRESSOR and the movie won't dub.......

I could really use some help

Sounds to me you are using VirtualDub if so make sure in the video & audio "dropdowns" at the top they are BOTH set for direct stream then it will join them.
Or are you trying to do mpegs.

Hi,

If I do what you say, my virtdub crashes and I cannot select my source range.

Source range !
Open first part of the movie drag the grey bar to the far end now open up the second part Append AVI Section just under open,now again drag to the far right look under the video and audio and make sure they are both on direct stream now save.
Takes about 3-4minutes.
