my comp. has 2gb of ram and a 256 mb graphics card and the ps2 emu i have does not run coorectly. can any1 tell me where to get nice roms from.

Try bittorent sites. PS2 does not use rom files like a gba or snes, it uses .iso files.

everything I've heard of these emulators says they are simply a no go on the pc

Hardly. I've ran FFX, Disagrea II and quite a few other games on my PC. You just need a decent PC is all.
