Thread: Holy Sh*t ! You Guys Gotta See This!

  1. #1
    ****WARNING****
There is a photo in the link that shows a partially eaten man, so beware to those of you who havent the stomach to see such things. But I encourage everyone to read the article and look at the pics because its pretty amazing the size of this Grizzly (which is a world record). I almost put this in the horror/sci-fi forum, but its true!!!

Wow! that's incredible. I had not seen that one before. A couple hundred pounds short of a one ton bear. Imagine the size of his

Poor dude, what a way to go. Guess we have to always remember, when we enter the woods we go into "their" environment and need to be careful.
The moral of the story could be...."Beware of invitations from a bear to join him for dinner"

I got that link into my mailbox a while ago.
At first I was impressed by the size of the grizzly's paws.
But then I got to the last picture....First I wasn't sure what i was looking at 'till I saw ripped clothes and a :x half eaten leg. That really made my stomach turn! :x
There are probably more gross details on that picture but that's about all I remeber and want to remember of the picture because i really can't stand that kind of images.
Thank god you warned for explicit images otherwise I probably would've clicked that link(again :x )

Ok, another moral to a story here....be careful what you believe when you read something.

First of all, xbballplaya223x's article that you first see is from "The Texas Outdoor Zone" and declares the bear: 1) a World Record, 2) 12'6" high, 3) over 1600 lbs. these statistics were debunked by the link referenced by Spider-Dude (which in all fairness to xbballplaya223x is the same as at the bottom of his Texas Outdoor Zone article) from "Urban Legends and Folklore" which states 1) NOT a World Record, 2) 10'6" high, 3) 1000-12000 lbs.

So, I guess if I'm putting all this together correctly and considering I am not familiar with neither The Texas Outdoor Zone nor Urban Legends and Folklore, is that you can't believe what you read in The Texas Outdoor Zone and it is the purpose of Urban Legends and Folklore to find articles with false claims and exaggerations and expose the cads for the charlatans they really are...lol

With all this being said: BEAR STILL HAD DUDE OVER FOR DINNER! :x

    I have to compliment you!!!!!!!!!!

You and I are the only ones at this forum who uses correct grammar!

We use the statement "First of all..."

Everyone else always says "First off....."

What the hell is "first off"? The first light switch turned off? The first spigot turned off?
