you could prob get a asus a78nx deluxe for $165 and a barton 2800 for $190
and that board is meant to be one of the best

i know, but if you buy it now, and the technology does get better, you still gonna need a new driver and mobo in the future anyway. thats what i meant. i know that sata will get better.

i know you do get the 10k rpm ones, but they are alot deared than normal sata and ata drives. depends if you have the cash to splash out on them.
edit: for a little less you can get 3x the storage, so it aint really worth it unless your loaded. imo

you could prob shave couple of hundred of that imo.
and i would go for the asus board. almost same price, and the non deluxe would prob be same price.
the problem is that in that webpage, tigerdirect.ca they only have that one, and i dont want to order from a different web page cuz it will take forever to ship to canada
