THERE ARE COPIES IN STOCK... st least in San Diego County. There are probably 3 left in the county.
I went to circuit city and there was a nice person who let me order a copy from another store (because the store i went to was sold out). I told him about the 3 rebates so he printed 3 reciepts for me, even though only 2 rebate forms came out. I'm gonna print out the last one from the passwird website and hope for hte best
You MIGHT get lucky if you go to circuit city and ask the sales person to check the other stores in your area.

If the store is having a sale, usually they have "rebates"
You take your reciept and a copy of the proof of purchase from the item you bought and mail it to an address.
A few weeks later you get back a check for the amount the rebate was worth.
In this case, you get 3 rebates so you mail 3 seperate letters to 3 seperate addresses with all the information, and you should get 3 $40 checks in the mail.
so you "win" 100 bucks for purchasing a drive that was so low in price?
lol, no some people mess up the rebate, and so they don't gett the money, by this idea stores casn make things look very cheap, when indeed many will simply not manage to get the rebate to work...
usually new time buyers. black friday has been perfectly fine for me so farOriginally posted by SciManAl@13 December 2003 - 18:32

yeah only the fucktrads are the ones that don't fill it in or leave out the upc... but if you do it withy even a scrap of brains left... then it will be fine... the margin of error is still just high enough for it to be profitabale...
so not a lot of ppl fill out the rebate forms?
no. a lot of people forget, or leave out their receipt or upc code when they mail, leading ot incomplete forms, and no rebate. i never had that probOriginally posted by DWk@13 December 2003 - 18:42
