Need Help!

new here!
my k-lite isnt connecting since i installed it the other day, i just able to connect it once but now its not workin, im inside a lan and they dont allow us to download anything, someone told me that probably they have blocked the port k-lite normally uses, i dont know much about ports and stuff, its still not connecting... is there any other way that i can connect to kl and they dont able to block the port or so??
