Hello All
For the past year now ive learnt how to convert avi to vcd using tmpgenc, virtual dub etc etc and am now thinking of moving on and getting a DVD writer.
The question is, when converting an AVI\MPG etc to dvd, (I presume youd be converting them to vob files) because one 700mb avi can usually fit on a normal vcd, does that mean you could have over 5 hours of lower quality film on a DVDr or does it not work like that?
Thanks for any help, pretty curious on this one.

yes you can buy lowering the bit rate when you encode too Mpeg 2. then you authorize it with TMPGEnc authorizer and burn as DVD video with Nero
