Thread: Gf Fx5600xt?

1. #1
i was wondering if a 5600XT would be enough for most/all games out there today. or should i go w/ a regular 5600. i want to play games like unreal, ut2k3, planetside, bf1942, american army, you get the idea. so would it be good enough?

i can get it for about $78, or a reg 5600 for about $100 at newegg....or should i go w/ the 9600 non-pro.

depends on the rest of the system spec and exactly how well you'd like to be able to run the games (e.g. what resolution, details etc)
BLAH

Wayne Rooney - A thug and a thief

rest of system

1.8ghz p4
384mb 266mhz (pc2100) ram
40gb WD

and i like to run/most games on med-high setting on my max res.....1024x768(lcd monitor so...)

is that card enough? for 78 dollars i cant help but feeling tempted to buy it now

you should be able to play most current games well with the 5600, but you should look into getting the 9600 as an alternative

no such thing as a 5600xt

unless ur referring to the 5600ultra or the 5700 ultra

i would choose the 5700 ultra (if u have a microcenter in ur area, u mite be able to find a 9800pro for 300 bucks!!! oh yea, ur not an fps phreak)
