Thread: Nero 6 Won't Burn Svcd

  1. #1
my nero 6 ultra edition will not burn my svcd files anymore. i have the svcd plugin and it has worked fine up till now.Now nero reencodes the svcds first and that reduces the quality and so on.Can someone help. I think the plugin is for some 5. version.

best thing to do is get the latest (crackable) version it should solve your problem

why do you let nero encode anything?
for best results you should encode with tmpgenc then just let nero burn it
ESP if you like quality, and your burning svcd's tells me you like quality, just haven't had your eyes open on how to encode properly

    no official plugin. edit:

since a few weeks you can "buy" :-) dvd_plugin from nero. that means mpeg2_plugin (for dvd and svcd).

the best you can do is like muchspl2 said: use tmpgenc for encoding - then burn it with nero.

not wishing to confuse things, but you must already have the svcd encoder plugin installed otherwise it wouldn't encode

it doesn't re-encode if its in svcd format already

But yes it's better to do what muchspl2 says, with the tmpgenc.
