Help!

ok....my pc is resetting from time to time...just like if i took the power off..... yes i have an ups, and this wasnt happening 2 days ago.... tsk tsk

any ideas?

btw, if u think its windows automatic rebooting....after rebooting it doesnt give me any notice of error or whatever.... it just restarts as if u were booting normally

can't help if you don't state the which version of windows you're running.

but, if it's winXP, you can turn off the reboot upon system failure feature:

right click "my computer"

select "properties"

click the "advanced" tab

click the "settings" button under start up and recovery.

de-select "automatically restart" under system failure.

now you will get a blue screen of death showing what's happened [that previously caused a reboot].

figure it out from there.
