i had a WinAmp RC 8, and then I installed WinAmp5 full over it, but when I tried to play a *.ogm it wounldn't work. I had previously configed is all up in the RC, and the config was still there in the new WinAmp 5.0 full, but it wouldn't play the file!
I uninstalled WinAmp and reinstalled the RC 8, but still wouldn't play, even though it worked previously on the same version!
what happened? Can I fix it?

do an absolute clean install
(uninstall everything, do a search for files and delete em all, then reinstall)
