she did basically say that if one was a Vegetarian that she would make them eat what their given
as far as i'm concerned the kid could spin if they wanted to be a vegetarian

if the family is already hard up for cash, why should the child wish to cost even more? [/b][/quote]
Yeah but they would'nt be so hard up for cash if they did'nt have so many kids.

Surely the kid could just take extra vegetables instead of meat. I am sure that would be cheaper in the long run.

i think that's rather obvious, but it's harder to kill a child (and highly illegal) than it is to feed them all the same food (at discounted prices?)

Yes but the point is she shouldnt of had so many kids in the first place.

I think we need a vegetarian to post in here on this topic and give their views.

Gen, I have gathered that you know Lamsey IRL, ask him what he thinks.

You cannot force a child to eat something they really do not want to eat, I have a friend who's mother was a foster parent, had many different kids thru the 60's and 70's, 1 story my friend told me was a young girl of 6 y/o was staying with them who was a vegetarian, she was physically forced to eat meat.........after dinner she would go to the toilet and throw up.
So surly that is far far worse than letting the child eat what they can?

yes, and my point was that now that they've had the kids, there's no point in saying "well, if you never had so many in the first place..."

it reminds me of the saying "it's like opening the barn door after the horse has been burnt to death"
