Newbie Needs Help!

Hello,
I just joined and am a little confused. Am i now able to download music and movies then burn them to a Cd and watch it on my dvd player in my family room or does the movie have to be watched on the computer? And what does TMD stand for?

If the file is properly converted, check out www.vcdhelp.com for that and your dvd player is compatible with cd-r's yes you should be able to. TMD is the name of a group that provides movie files. You will see that they are several groups that provide movies................

Just bear in mind that the movie file you're downloading will usually need to be 480 X 480 or 480 X 576 resolution,and preferably .mpg(2)if you're going to get a watchable svcd (preferably)or vcd for your standalone DVD player.Kazaa is littered with with film rips which struggle to look even 1/2 decent in a 12 inch window on your PC monitor,so you can probably imagine what they'll look like on a 28 or 32 inch w/s TV.And don't forget you'll spend a lot of time converting files into something which may not even work at all if you download some of the .avi's I've seen.
Having waffled on about this,I do acknowledge there are a few experts on here who would no doubt disagree with me,the choice is obviously yours.

It took me hours on cable hook up but I downloaded jungle bookm2 now i go to play it on the computer and I hear the whole movie but see no video. Help please!!

Maybe you need the correct codec.

All you need is DivX 502 Bundle,XviD Video Codec.

Thats all i use and everything works fine.

u can get a codec pack off this site somwhere have a little search

tmd producer cam version of a movie very low quality
try and get screener or ( divx,dvdrips) version there near dvd quality
