Comp $1000

hey i know there have been heaps of these posts in the past but im to lazy to find them again so here goes. what can i get for under $1000 Australian dollars.
i rather Nvidia, and Intel pentiums over radeon and amd. thanks for help and dont blame me if ive said somthing wrong. thats why your here, to pick up on it.

like what would you buy? if u had $1000.
give me different examples of computers i dont care if its for gaming, office etc
just give me what you would buy

asrock mobo w/ 5.1 onboad sound, 8x agp, ddr 400, and up to 400 mhz fsb=50
fx 5900= 189
amd xp 2600 333fsb=104
WD 80gig 7200rpm= 67
Kreton 512mb 333mhz ram (to match fbs) =64
raidmax case=60
NEC dual dvd burner= 110

total is $644
so u still have some left for monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers
most of these parts are from newegg

Ram- 40 bucks
AMD 1700+ 45 bucks
Motherboard - 50 bucks
Video card - 120 bucks
Hard drive - 60 bucks
CD burner - 35 bucks
Keyboard mouse- 30 bucks
dead bolts on doors - 70 dollars
pocketing the other 500 dollars - PRICELESS
