We Need Ideas To Protect Kazaa From Child Porn!

I want to begin a new thread on how we all can protect ourselves from Child Pornography!!

People out there think it's so funny to rename files. Well I got a renamed file! It was Child Porn that made me SICK!! A 5 year old girl, being made to perform oral sex on a man until he was finished. This made me CRY! I was HURT! Here I was, thinking I was DLing something I wanted, and I got that! I'm not nameing the file because it will only distribute it more!

This hurt me, and it hurt that poor child, I have no idea wether that person was caught and that poor girl is being helped and loved, (is she's not dead, killed by that abuser? I may never know&#33

After some investigating, I am absolutely APPALLED at how EASILY and READILY Child Porn is available on Kazaa and K-Lite.

I've been a long time user of Kazaa, I love it. I've found music and video that I had been looking for, for a very long time. It's a staple of mine for use when I use the internet. As we all agree I'm sure.

However, this is now putting a serious BAD MARK, if not a SPOTTED LIVER given to Kazaa!

I ask for any ideas how we can protect ourselves, and others from distributing Chld Porn on Kazaa, we need to protect the poor children in those videos as much as ourselves, because in most cases, they have no idea of what they're doing...

PLEASE, if you find Child Porn, message the user you got it from on about how much of TOTAL SCUM they are!

Also, if you find a file of that nature, DO NOT POST THE NAME OF IT HERE! It will only cause searching for it and SHARING OF IT!

The surprise video I had recieved now has produced an image that won't go away from my mind for a very long time, I even thought about giving up on Kazaa totally, and I don't want to, because it's a great program!

I ask that we all begin a PETITION. A petition to ask Kazaa to possibly add a secretive BANNED WORDS list to their search engine, so that unbeknownst to the Child Pronographer, the search words he uses to get himself/herself Child Porn show NO RESULTS...

It may only cause file renaming, but it's a start to clearing that subject OUT from Kazaa! (Simple words I used after investigating found more results than I'd like to mention, it was HORRIBLE).

A simple banning of those simple words in the search engine will HELP, not annoy!

What say you? How can we help protect ourselves with Kazaa? And protect those poor children?

Sick, yes, but why'd you watch so much of it, just hit stop, stop the download find the IP (if possible, it should be in the DAT, if you did a preview before it finished) , and report the fucker.

Also, send the file to whatever authorities that handle these things, you were downloading, not uploading, so no one can hit you for sharing anything.

best to just delete it and not have to explain to the authorities why you are sending them illegal images...yeah it was an accident but why open yourself up to a run in with the law?



edit: good point muchspl...I don't even open a file (or start to download) that I think might be dogy on those rare occassions I download pron.

Sure, reporting every IP we come across could help, but sometimes, it my come from somone, like me, who deosn't even know he's sharing it. (It was in bed and it was sharing the whole time).

Not everyone is up 24/7 to watch their Kazaa, and most turn it on, and leave for work.

As as far as taking up needed posting space to begin flaming, save it for some other forum thread please.

Why are we trying to point out that I watched it to the end? I'm now sorry I let curiosity get the better of me to regretable results. Are you happy now that I pointed this out? It helped me generate a want to do somthing about it now so no one else has to, "watch it to the end."

Whereas, I quite frankly didn't care before, just like some who need to, "point things out," to spite the topic...

Okay I was just expressing my opinion on the fact that this type of thread has been done to DEATH and always ends in flaming...

One option could be to be much more selective in what you download and perhaps check it with the preview option? If it turns out to be unsuitable then, instead of watching it all the way through, you could try cancelling it instead.

If you&#39;re in any doubt about a file don&#39;t let it on your computer...
