Thread: Previewing..

normal previewing doesn't work. I know I need the start and the finish of the file, but that won't work either...
is there an app for that, perhaps?

What you should do is go to the Main E-Mule home page and read about the Videolan Plug-in and how it works!
It's very simple to install and it works a treat!
With it you can preview almost anything and it doe'snt make giant back-ups first!!

make sure you have set "download first and last chunks first"-this will benifit when previewing a video file

you can get the files and plugins needed through the emule homepage. In the downloads section.

If overnet stores the files in temp with part.met files too, it should work.

but the plugin is meant for emule, it doesn't provide instructions for overnet...is it even meant for overnet?

i tried downloading and installing according to the readme file provided by the plugin but overnet does not detect the presence of this plugin

    plz help...

I am new to this, but I believe if Overnet has a folder of .met files, it can be associated with VLC, in the same way as emule is. try and read the help files for emule and VLC, you have to associate the one with the other.
