PLEASE!? Can SOMEONE help me get the correct ports needed open so I can download files from Emule and kazaa lite faster?
Here's what it says:
Customized Applications (Blank)
Extension Port (Blank) to (Blank)
Protocol TCP (Box Unchecked)
Protocol UDP (Box Unchecked)
These are going accross in a row..they're all one filter..how would I do it? What is the information I want to punch in? Thanks in advance.

Found At Options -->> KL++ Options -->> FW Tab
Enter EMule Port,
Found At Preferances -->> Connections -->> TCP

Go into the configuration menu of your router (your layout is probably a bit different) and enter the rule that I have made for eMule. Just make sure that you enter the right IP number that the router's DHCP gives you, not the IP number that is given to you by your ISP but your internal IP.

What type of router is that? I really like that menu layout.

It's a Netgear Wirless 54 Mbit Cable/DSL router (WGR614) but most of the other routers from Netgear have the same or a really similar layout. I used to have the FM114P but I bought a faster one instead; anyway the layout of that router was almost identical to the one I have now.Originally posted by aserty@19 December 2003 - 21:17
