Thread: Crazy High Cpu Temps!

    OMG...I just noticed this...but it usually says about 20% CPU usage....when I move my mouse around really fast..it goes right up to 90% hahahaha
    [SIZE=1]AMD 4200 X2 @ 2.65Ghz, ASRock 939-VSTA
    1.75GB PC3200, 2 X 160GB Seagate w/ 8MB Buffer
    HIS Radeon X800 Pro, Antec Super Lanboy Aluminum

    Then hit the "Speed" tab and check the box for the fan you wish to monitor.
    Likewise, hit the "Temperature" tab and you can see what that oddball reading is coming from.

    I tried that and it says that LM75?? whatever that is?? is making that 96 C
    but there are 2 for LM75 and the other one says 30 C??

    Just ignore the strange ones. I have one that reads -1degC.
    Pay attention to the chip (if you have two chip temps...take the highest), the mainboard and the HDD.
    The rest are probably bogus.

    How do I know which one is for the chip?
    I got three

    HDO which i assume is the harddrive?
    LM75??
    ASUS AS99127F is this one the Chip? it currently reads 33C

    I dont know if it works with all asus motherboards.

    Just downloaded it and installed it&#33;

    Now my MB temp. is 30 C
    And my CPU temp. is 33 C

    Are these normal?

    There really is no "normal" temp, but yours certainly fall within a typical range.
