my cpu goes up to 54 while playing doom 3 alpha!!! and my board goes up to 43!!!!!. that's bad rite? will my comp fry when i play the real game?

btw, if u want to know, my radeon 9600 works perfectly with this game! around 30-40 fps during battle scenes! i'm pretty amazed!

still, the temps are crazilly high. will this occur when the real game comes out?

Its on supernova, but as abu has demonstrated, it is in no way optimised yet and although you may get a good framerate, its thrashing the hell out of your cpu, hence the raised temps

Abu, if your chip was an AMD, i wouldnt be worried about those temps at all, but as it is an intel im not familiar with their safe operating temps

here's my temps (Deg C):
CPU: 34 idle, 44-50 depending on load
HD: 13-19
Mobo: 30 idle, 40 load
Vd card: 23-30 idle, 35-40 running 3dmark03

are those good temps?

wat r ur temps?

any suggestions as to what i should do to lower them?
I thought you said these are your temps.

Once again you come here asking why your computer is hot while it's overclocked.

Just proves that you don't understand overclocking.

And you say you wanted to get it to 2800 or 3000 ?
