Torrent Storm Query

Just started using TorrentStorm, had always used the normal BitTorrent app in the past.

In "Settings > Torrent List Fields > Seeds checkbox" it says "Number of seeds connected to (scrape value in brackets)" and when I tick the box and take a look it says 0(7)

Does that mean I'm not connected to a seed ? It showed that I was still downloading at the time so what's up with that ?

The number outside the parenthesis are who you are connected to and the number inside the parenthesis are the total seeds the torrent has. So yes, it is saying you are not connected to any seeds.

You are most likely dl'ing from other peers though. In some cases, you do not even need a seed to finish a file as long as the whole file is available between all the people using it.

You can click on manual announce to try and connect to more of those sources though. Double click the file in question, then options and initiate manual announce.

Tried that manual announce but still no better.

My conn: 512kbps/256kbps (DL/UL)
and I've been downloadin' @ less than 4 kB/s all day
