Is There A Fast Way To Check A Cd

ok...lets say i got an iso in my computer.... i burn it with nero after.... is there a program that can compare the iso and the cd and check if everything is ok?

YES i do know nero has an option to check.... HOWEVER its 2 slow.... so any help is appreciated.

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you mean...but if I'm doubtful about a cd image for some reason, I'll usually use Alcohol
to mount it to a virtual drive before I burn it, to make sure it works properly.

yah i do that too....however i wanna test a windows cd....which i cant actually "test" lol.... so i was wondering if there is a program that (like nero does) checks the cd after it has been burned and compares it (and scans for corruption) with the original image

I wouldn't have thought so as cabs,ex_ etc have to be expanded and this is only done when loading as you have said checking with nero or even bloody scandisc just takes too long.

It will always take as long if the software is through, doesnt matter what software you use.

So stick with nero or just insert in a different drive (if you have another available) just to check if its recognised, because its rare (but not very rare) for there to be errors if it can be read on another drive or pc.

Nero doesn't perform checks when you burn images, does it? I thought that option was only available when you compiled a data CD.

If you use WinRAR to extract the iso to a folder you can use CDCheck [HERE] to compare the files against the burned CD.

cant remember about that...i dont think so.... but yea that utility looks nice but i tried looking for one that checks the image directly and tells you if whats in the cd is EXACTLY the same you have on the image.... making the burn a "perfect" burn...
