    What would be the better choice?

    GeForce FX 5600 256MB DDR for $199 or
    Geforce FX 5700 Ultra 128 MB DDR2 for $219 or
    any other suggestions in this price range....Thx guys...Merry X-Mas!

    if you are gonna go for an nvidia, the choice would be an fx5900

    do u do a lot of gaming? even so , i think the 9600xt should be enough, or you can get teh 9700pro for about the same price as the 5700u at newegg

    I do do alot of gaming and I want to get a card with the nvidia chipset because I have X3D [3D glasses] installed and it only works with their drivers.

    then i recommend the 5900....+ u get call of duty for free

    9700Pro $230 at newegg and can beat the 5700. I got one on the way.

    hey kid: search here for a 5900 ultra. you should find it under 250. it beats the hell out of the 5900 everyone else keeps talking about
