im planning on getting either the 5200 250/400 mhz 128mb ddr memory, 128 bit memory bandwidth, or the 9600 se 325/400 mhz 128mb ddr, 64 bit

the 5200 is 60 and the 9600se is 80....now i was wondering is it worth it to upgrade to the 9600se or would it be consider a downgrade since its memory bandwidth is only 64bit.....so which should i choose? 128bit 5200 or 64bit 9600se

oh and currently the only game i play is midnight club 2, nfsu, cod, and bf1942 which one of these card would be able to play this at 1024x768 at max setting or med setting at playable fps....and maybe aa and af

u call urself atiVidia and make the impression you know SOMETHING of video cards..... wow am i impressed every day.... he said 64-bit not 64mb.... but then again.... i dont expect you to know the difference...

concerning your question, MR elmo i dont think it would be worth it..... at least not with half the bandwidth. I think the 5200 can play these games at full/high settings

so i should go w/ teh fx5200? so should i buy the 5200 now, or wait for like a month or 2 to get the 5600 ultra or the 9600 pro , and possibly the 9600xt? like i said, the current games im playing arent too graphically demanding....nfsu, mc 2, bf1942, cod, and sometime morrowwind

EDIT: wait, the xt core speed is only 100mhz faster then the pro, so could i get teh pro and oc it?

nfsu is pretty graphic demanding. I got my 9500Pro today but just sent it back to newegg lol..cuz i ordered a 9700PRO It should be here tomm. I would get the Pro, or if you have some extra money get the XT..theres not a whole lot of diff in performance tho
