Thread: Merging Subtitles

  1. #1
    Hello ppl,

I use a nice prog named SubViewer which helps you see a movie with the relevant subtitle (loaded in .sub, .srt, etc. formats). This works fine, yet it has one big limitation: You have to watch the movie in your PC, so that this program runs and does the trick.

However, I am looking for an app that actually MERGES the subtitle into the movie; this means that I will then be able to burn my DVD (subtitle included), and watch it merrily with my family in our living-room.

Anybody heard of something like it?

    Thx.

i think you have to convert the movie with the subs to e.g. vcd, svcd

You mean to convert it to mpeg-1 or -2 format? And what will happen? It will still be lacking the subtitle.

you can then convert the avi to vcd using whatever program you want.
