These are RW&#39;s, my mom bought them so I want to use them so it wont waste money.

CD-RW&#39;s are only 4x are they not??? If they are only 4X than you are only gonna be able to record at 4x and when you go to the properties of your CD writer while you have a 4X disk in it is gonna say it is 4X.Take that disk out and put a normal CD-r in.See what happens.
